In response to the pre-existing need for creation of sterile working conditions scientific circles of developed countries started to search for new, more efficient methods of air cleaning. As a result of long-standing work and continuous improvement of technology created by a Finnish scientist, Mr Veikko Ilmasti a new method, namely Multifunction Ion Air Cleaning (MFI) was developed. The method is featured with high efficiency in removing ultra-fine particles from 1 nm in size (for comparison - HEPA filters from 300 nm) from air. The equipment is manufactured and the technology is owned by GENANO, a company from Finland which we represent in Poland on exclusivity basis.

MECHANISM OF OPERATION OF THE GENANO METHOD - MFI (view simulation of the GENANO method)
* Sucking in polluted air with a fan and passing the air through a passage tunnel of the device * Treating the sucked-in air with intensely operating ion beams and making each particle (even neutral one) carry a negative charge * Attracting negatively charged particles through tunnel walls constituting a specific positive electrode * Collecting pollutants on the tunnel walls * Cleaning the tunnel walls from pollutants by flushing with water or any other solvent (disinfecting solution)
